Reviewed Chili Cheese Dogs in Beach Blankets

"I had some leftover hot dogs to consume but we weren't completely sold. The chili, cheese and crescent flavor was good but for some reason the hot dog seemed to not fit both literally and flavor-wise - I know, that doesn't make much sense. I think it is probably good to great for kids but maybe we've just moved on from the dog sta..."

"Turned out pretty good. I used ground Turkey instead of hamburger. The cooked meatballs were a little extra moist texture. I ended up only cooking two packets worth and froze the additional meatballs. I'll probably not foil pack them next time and just bake/broil them to get them a little more crisp. The sauce was a winner!"

"Just perfect. Found a pork shoulder roast, followed recipe as is and it turned out great. Used another reviewer's suggestion and took the broth to cook up some rice and had rice, carnitas bowls for meal #1; tacos is meal #2; #3 and #4 who knows. I may tweak the spice up a notch next time but just the fact that they it was falling apart, moist a..."

"Really good. Only change I made was using fat free sour cream. Made a nice moist and light tasting cake - we had it for Christmas morning."

"This was more than yummy as advertised. The only thing I altered was we had extra beef franks so those were sliced up and added. We also only did a 1/2 batch which was perfect for a small main dish dinner. Next time I'll be cutting the butter down slightly, it was greasier than I like to look at."

"I've nearly always mixed from scratched but no more! Cake box cookies appear to be the way to go when you're in a pinch. I had one of those cold night cookie cravings and yellow cake mix was all I had on hand. Used some slivered almonds, white chips and a few dried orange cranberries. Pretty good combination. I did need to had a little more oi..."

"This was really good. Made it per the recipe with one error however. I started just adding all the ingredients not reading that I was supposed to use part of the oil for sauteing not just throwing it it. So my olive oil was a higher amount when mixed in. But I agree with the other posters the flavors in here just really popped out. We enjoyed..."

"Excellent both in tenderness and flavor. In place of boullion cubes I use "better than boullion" paste with water. Everything else I made as listed. Cooked on med-high for total of 6 hours, flipped it over for the last hour. Sliced up nicely into french rolls and scooped some juice into bowls for dipping. Served with sweet potato fries."

"Did not like these much. The apple cider vinegar flavor came out too strong and the chocolate was too weak. I agree with the Breezytoo that if I'd try these again, I'd up the amount of cocoa. Mine also baked and were sunk in the middle. Not sure if that meant the baking time should've been longer. It was just a little strange."
