"I had these as a kid at potluck dinners and in a fit of nostalgia, looked up the recipe to make them myself. They are as good as I remember. Sweet, smokey and delicious. I will be adding these to my regular rotation."

"The flavor of this rice pudding is subtle and fantastic. Not too sweet, but creamy and delicious. I used light coconut milk and 2% cow's milk. I also used raw sugar in place of the brown sugar, and chopped figs and golden raisins for the fruit. I am thinking about using dried pineapple and candied ginger the next time I make this. Super recipe - t..."

"Great cookies! Followed the recipe exactly and my discerning chocolate chip cookie critic gave them two thumbs up. This replaces my old chocolate chip cookie recipes."

"Wow, this is really good. I've made crustless quiches before, but have not been happy about how they turned out. This one, however, is a keeper. I browned some ground turkey (93/7 that I seasoned with chili powder, cumin, ground red pepper (just a touch and, added a diced green bell pepper, a diced red bell pepper, a diced onion and crushed garl..."

"This is quick, easy and oh-so-good! I did make a couple of changes: I softened a chopped yellow onion, a diced green pepper, some minced onion and a little diced celery in a little bit of olive oil before adding the rest of the ingredients. "Wow, these are highly addictive. I made just as written and they only thing I would do differently next time is to double the batch. This one went way too fast. I made with a mix of cashews, pecans and almonds."

"This is a pretty good base. I also followed the advice of others and added about a Tbsp of light sour cream and some ground red pepper with the cumin. I served this over a taco salad and the leftovers were scooped up with cucumber spears. Tasty!"

"Really good and really easy. I did fry up 2 slices of chopped bacon and used the bacon grease instead of the butter for the roux. I also added a leftover baked potato with the salmon and peas. Made the perfect amount for two and enough left over for my lunch the next day."

"Oh my, this is good! I made it for Easter, but I am not sure it is going to make it. I did mix in some sour cream to cut the sweetness a little bit - but otherwise followed the recipe. I am surprised how much it made - had to transfer it to a really big bowl to mix it all up."

"My mother made this often when I was a kid - it is as good as I remember it. I added shredded carrots, eyeballed the fish sauce (so there was more than called for and added a dollop of garlic-chili sauce. Thank you for the memory!"
