"Thanks Luby, this is a delicious recipe! I doubled, or maybe even tripled it, just adding things to fill my soup pot! I added thinly sliced carrot & more garlic. I omitted the milk & used stock along with 300ml of light cooking cream. So soothing & rich - even in Summer LOL!!!!!!!! I didn't have cayenne, so sprinkled in some curry powder.... yum! ..."

I took a batch to a Christmas party myself & they flew off the plate!!! Her filling varied slightly: ham, egg, then cheese slices (you know, the kind wrapped i..."

"I have made these ages ago & several times, but never had a chance to review. Delicious. It would have been delicious "as is" but I made some changes based on what ingredients I had at home. Instead of the chives I used some softened onions; no parsley so omitted that, & have used both sour cream & Greek style yogurt on different occasions. The ..."

"Hi Jan, was going to post a very similar recipe, so thought I would review yours with my changes. I use butter or oil instead of the bacon grease and add some garlic, just because I love it! This is a SENSATIONAL dish & I think THE way to prepare asparagus. This is our "go to" recipe. Even more delicious when prepared on the BBQ for that added smo..."
