"I have made this over and over, but never rated. I love these. They are a perfect work night meal. I use leftover chicken, turkey, or even cornish hens. I sometimes top with a pepperjack cheese sauce, which kicks them up a bit. I too use olive oil instead of margarine."

I figured replacing the vanilla extract with the orange would work. IT DID! The glaze is yummy. So is the cake. I highly recommend it! UPDATE: I went to this glaze agai..."

"I received 10 Korean Pears as a gift. They are huge! I love to bake, so I decided to hunt for a pear cake recipe. After looking at several recipes, I chose this one, mainly for the preparation technique. It was very easy to prepare. One of my Korean Pears garnered 3 cups of chopped...they are huge! I did make a little addition to the recipe,..."

"I chose this cake for my husband's birthday because he LOVES banana splits. I followed the recipe for the cake exactly. It didn't rise as high as I hoped, so when I sliced each layer in half, the resulting layers were extremely thin. I filled it following the recipe directions. I did not like the "rustic" way the cake looked (since it was a bi..."

"This is definately a man-pleasing meal! Meat, sauerkraut, and beer. It pleased this woman too! I didn't even brown the roast. I just put everything in the crockpot as directed and cooked on low for 8 hours. The directions didn't say how much beer, so I used 12 ounces. Will make this again. Thanks Aronsinvest. Great dinner, Sue"
