"I love this recipe - I always drain well, and instead of salt/pepper, use GARLIC PEPPER SEASONING with the butter, I think this transforms it! : (in fact, I use Mrs. Dash salt free garlic pepper seasoning and it's fine Hey, it's got lots of fiber and if you use lite butter it's lowfat too!"

"I loved this. I used 99% fat free turkey, so to add moisture back in I grated 1/2 onion on the fine grater and 3/4 small green apple into the mixture, and added 2 T olive oil, and upped the pepper to 1 full teaspoon. For me, it was perfect."

"I thought this was excellent! I used Spicy V8, and that is what did the trick for me. By not using low-sodium V-8, this is a kind of high in salt recipe, but soooo gooood. You could try different varieties of onion soup too (mushroom, golden, etc. Added comment: This is excellent with Fritos mixed in, by the way... :p"

"I thought this tasted exactly like spaghetti sauce made by a local Italian restaurant (incomparable of course. I added 1/2 tsp oregano, 1/2 t fennel and 1/2 t italian seasoning and used 1/2 C wine, and added about a tsp of baking soda. That was when all the *MAGIC HAPPENED* for me. I couldn't distinguish it from the restaurant's. At less than 1/3..."

"I agree with everyone else, this is GREAT. I thought it did not taste as good the next day, but as long as you serve it same day, it's AWESOME. I like to use 1/2 the brown rice and refrigerate the whole thing as a cold 'salad'. You can use it to top nachos, serve with huevos rancheros, or as a side for tacos, etc. SO GOOD and SO HEALTHY!!!!! wheeee"

"I made these using full fat ranch instead of the milk, and drizzling ranch dressing on them after cooked, and WHOA. I have made them every weekend since discovering the recipe (like 5 weekends now. I am addicted! And before I hated any cooked carrot recipe! I do cook them about 15 minutes per side, til quite dark brown, to completely cook the car..."

"Delicious. A thought: this may or not be for you but, you can take any meat loaf recipe that intrigues you and make 4 mini loaves (per 1 lb meat and just cook for about 1/2 the time, they freeze very well too. I'm single, and that's what I do. :"

"This is sooo good, what I do is make a ton of the topping and keep in the fridge for a week's worth of breakfasts/desserts! Sometimes I drizzle with cream or half n half ;p"

"Wow, this is goooood. I used Ro-tel tomatoes instead of the can of tomatoes and 1 big can of tomato sauce, plus added 4 chipotle peppers, 1/2 tsp liquid smoke, and 1 Tblspn baking powder (to cut the acidity of all the tomato and mellow and sweeten it. Best homemade chili I've ever tasted, in fact I can't stop going back and getting more!"
