"Very good! I did use corn shells & fried them in a bit of oil before cutting into triangles but otherwise kept to the recipe. I have a similar recipe but it does not use enchilada sauce & I think that is a good addition. We really enjoyed this! Thanks for posting :"

"Oh thanks much, I have made tortillas but didn't know how to get the flavorings, this will be terrific & I will also take the advice of Fairy Nuff & add a bit of tomato paste & herbs! Your basic recipe is very similar to one I use with the exception of using canola or olive oil for the fat. Works surprisingly well. Thanks again!"

"This was very good, a friend had given up a package of hot polish sausage made with pork & elk I believe & this worked well with them. The heat of the sausage was nice too so if I were to make with regular polish dogs I would probably add some red pepper flakes. Good comfort food! Thanks for posting."
