"Taste was good, but appearance left something to be desired. Didn't have much luck with the fudge frosting. Like other reviewers mine firmed too soon, and also melted the buttercream, even though I had left it to firm in the freezer for almost an hour. The Sanders' is my Mom's favorite, I wish I would have been able to more accurately reproduce it..."

"Needed a bit more seasoning that recipe indicated. With an extra bit of salt and pepper though, this was right on the money!"

"Followed the recipe as written, except to add some shredded carrot as well. Not very impressed. The texture was decent for me, but the flavor was severely lacking. I guess I should have followed some other reviewer's advice and upped the seasoning. I might also try again but using re-fried beans or mashing mine a bit finer, as my 3 year old was no..."

"Really delicious, even with the few adjustments I had to make (I only had limes on hand. For such a small effort on my part, the recipe yielded outstanding results. Very moist, and the skin was to die for! My toddler finished a serving of white meat, then insisted on eating the drumstick. He rarely eats that much meat, let along right off the bon..."

"500 was way too hot to cook this, as my glaze nearly lit! Saved it just in time, scraped off the burnt bit and added a little extra sugar on top of the breasts. Turned it down to 375 to finish cooking and they turned out fine. Needs a little something else for flavor though... tasted good but lacking a little something."

"Yummmm! Needed to make a sweet treat for some friends who just had their 4th baby, something kids would like obviously! Of course, I had no eggs in the house... so we went vegan (sort of! I doubled the recipe but made a few substitutions. Creamy peanut butter with chopped walnuts added in subed for the crunchy pb. Regular milk for the soy (sin..."

"Halved this recipe with no issues whatsoever, but needed more like 12 minutes in my oven. Husband loved them and asked to have them in the future. They were perfect with just a little butter or to dip in our soup."

"I liked this quite a bit, but the husband wasn't a bit fan. He enjoyed the bacon and peas but felt the sauce needed a bit more flavor. I'll definitely make this again, when he's not around!"

"A very delicious banana CAKE. I wouldn't put this in the bread category, but it was a lovely (and SWEET! change of pace from my usual recipe. My husband absolutely loved it as he is always looking for a moist banana bread. Great job! Now I'll have to try the pumpkin one!"

"These turned out nicely, but next time I'd try a few changes from my first attempt. I only had whole wheat flour so they were a bit chewier than I would otherwise expect. I also used another reviewer's suggestion to add cheddar and chili powder. Loved the chili flavor, but my cheddar wasn't quite strong enough. Overall, much better than other atte..."
