"Made this for our families 4th of July cookout. I made it as directed with the exception of tripling the amount of bacon and subbing celery for the lettuce like a previous reviewer suggested. It turned out great! I would def make this again. I must say that I was leary of the chicken bullion in the sauce and the amount of lemon juice seemed like a..."

"I know your recipe says no substitutes with the butter but I did sub butter flavored crisco since that's what I had. I also did not use parchment paper, just baked on an ungreased cookie sheet as I would for any cookie with this amount of fat, they released perfectly The flavor and texture of this cookie is great! Thanks for sharing"

"This turned out to be too sweet for my tastes, but the kids loved it on their cutout cookies. I did have to add quite a bit more milk (4 tbsp as it just would not come together without it. In the future I would probably add even more milk since it was still quite stiff and hard to pipe without excessive force."

"We had this for dinner tonight. It was ok, but seemed a little bland. If I were to make it again, I would probably saute the leeks and carrots prior to adding the broth to give it more depth. And would probably add some herbs for more flavor."

"I loved this. My family was quite a bit hesitant as they normally only eat fish if it is breaded and deep fried. I made it as written but thought it could use more flavor, so next time I will try adding herbs, or maybe even some crushed red pepper flakes to kick it up a bit. The recipe wasn't clear on the type of cheese so I used some shredded moz..."

"While I was skeptical about the flavor of this, we tried this for dinner the other night and it turned out great! I thought that with using water instead of broth it would be too bland but that was not the case. That being said I will probably try this with broth the next time. I used red chard so the soup broth turned out a lovely purple color w..."

"The family really loved them. I loved the texture but the flavor was not as good as a regular brownie in my opinion. I did use dried beans and made sure to cook them to very tender like a canned bean would be. Next time I will add a bit more cocoa powder to achieve that rich chocolate flavor I'm looking for. (I love dark chocolate!"

"In an effort to keep with a healthier lifestyle, I subbed whole wheat flour and cut it back to just 2 cups. I also subbed the butter for 3 tbs of ground flaxseed, and cut the sugar back to 3/4 of a cup. The result was terrific! The biscotti was crisp with just a hint of sweetness (which is how I prefer it. And I don't feel bad about indulging a b..."
