"I thought the ratio of milk to rice was way off. However, once you allow it to sit for a while in the pot, it does absorb much of the liquid. "

"Skip the breading and just fry the chicken in olive oil - breading did nothing for the taste and just created a soggy sauce. I would use 4 red peppers next time instead of 6 as this flavor was overpowering. I also think the addition of a little chicken stock or broth would help the flavor of the sauce, and for me, the red pepper flakes were just ..."

Reviewed Almond, Pine Nut, Apricot Crumb Cake
     |  By Chef #478783

"I found this to be too dry with all the apricot pieces ending up in a clump at the bottom of the cake. I followed the recipe exactly and did not substitute any of the ingredients. The flavor was good but I don't think I'd make it again. Sorry Giada, won't be keeping this one."

     |  By Debidoo

"This recipe simply did not work for me. 100% power was too high, 10-15 minutes was too long and scooping out the insides only produced burned skins with no meaty sweetness left behind. I used what I had in abundance from my garden: regular, garden variety tomatoes that most everyone I know grows. I tried leaving the insides intact, cutting the..."
