"Great simplified version of this fantastic condiment. Other recipes call for shrimp paste, palm sugar, and a few things I don't always have on hand. This was easy and quick and added that extra something to my Indonesian dishes."

"Delicious! I tweaked it as I also do, adding garlic powder, paprika, dry mustard, used 1/2 and 1/2, added salt, a bit of Crazy Salt... Best mac I ever made."

"This was great. I tweaked it a bit since I didn't have allspice (added a very small dash of nutmeg, very subtle and nice flavor. added a few tsp of turmeric, beef bouillon, cooked my chili with a bottle of red beer, and salt. Turned out great, can't wait to have it in a few hours for the Superbowl after it's all simmered together."

"This was fabulous. I made it as noted, other than forgetting I was out of parsley so I used a bit of dried oregano, and I added a lot of salt. I salted the heck outta the bird and the vegetables. The sauce was fantastic. My husband said he was in food heaven. And the potatoes - I'll have to cook more potatoes if I want any leftovers. I also threw ..."

"I am not a baker and this came out delicious and was very easy. All the ingredients were ones I always have on hand, which is always a minor miracle. One thing - my oven must be wacky, but I had to lower the temp to 325 and cook for about an hour."

"I made this using thin cut pork chops. I let it set for about 45 minutes and the flavor was still fantastic. I did not cook them in the oven with sesame oil, instead I grilled them and served with a bean sprout stir fry, in which I included the sesame oil and left over marinade (boiled down to reduce to give the same flavors, and brown rice. It w..."

"I have never made a chicken mole, and I grabbed a jar of the green mole sauce on a whim. I'm glad I did because this recipe made a delicious dinner. I omitted the green chilies because I have small children (ages 4 and 5. The two kids said I was 'a good cooker' and that they were going to eat 'everything I cooked forever', so I am taking that as ..."

"Easy colorful cookies. I made them for a school bake sale and my children loved them. We'll see if they sell out tomorrow!"

"I made it pretty much as written minus the peas because I didn't have any on hand. I'm a guesstimater on spices and it still came out great. I used Minute Rice and it was done in about 20 minutes after frying the chicken in the onion and spices. Great dinner to throw together at the last minute! Thanks for posting!"

"I omitted the red pepper flakes because I have small children and they still turned out delicious. I will be making this again, the tenderness of the ribs plus the flavor of the rub was just right."
