"I made this tonight as posted except I added 2 tsp grated fresh ginger and one large japanese pear (apple/pear cubed. After I pureed all of the squash and pear I added a large dollop of sour cream because it looked a little watery. It was very good! And it was quick."

"Fabulous! Made exactly as written except had to use dried oregano (1 TBS. I didn't pound my chops thin enough so it took a little longer to cook but they were moist and done to perfection. This is a "do again"."

"Very good but not extraordinary. I did them in the oven, 4 hours at 200 degrees on a baking sheet tightly wrapped in foil. Then uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes with the sauce on them, basting a couple times. Make sure you wrap your baking sheet in 2 layers of foil or you won't get the crust off! I only used about half the rub, and I on ..."

"Made this to take to the neighbors for dinner last night and came home empty handed! It was a winner. I used mild sausage, jarred jalapeno peppers and a yellow and orange pepper instead of green. Will make again. * Made this a second time, omited the rice and reduced oven time to 25 minutes. This made a great dip with corn chips."

"Easy to make with pantry staples but very little flavor. I used 3 cloves of garlic as opposed to the powder and peas instead of mushrooms but it lacked "something". The kids loved it."

"My husband liked this but I found it quite dry. I followed the recipe and even used a thermometer. There was little to no balsamic taste at all but you could taste the garlic with no problem. Just an ok recipe."
