"Total comfort food. Great recipe. I had some left over crushed tomatoes and used it in place of the ketchup. I made this a second time using ground turkey and instead of the 1/2 cup of ketchup I used 1 cup of tomato sauce which I made from a can of tomato paste and added water. Turned out just as delicious as the first time."
"This is a great comfort food! Turned out really well and so easy to make. Leftovers warmed up were even better. I added chopped celery to the ground beef saute and used frozen veggies instead of canned in the mixture. Will definitely make this again and again."
"I give this a 10 YUM star rating!!!!!!!!!! I don't really care for pork or especially pork chops. But this recipe is definitely a keeper. I used 2 thin cheap bone in chops. If I used 6 chops, I would have tripled the recipe for the delish gravy. The meat fell apart and melted in our mouths. The gravy was wonderful over our Supreme Garlic Mash..."
"I love Wendy's Chili and this does taste very very very similar. I halved the recipe and put it into my crockpot. I sprinkled some onion and garlic powder into the ground beef toward the end of browning it. I substituted a 15 oz can of diced tomatoes, used green bell pepper instead of chili and used 1/2 cup of water due to the liquid in the cann..."
"These spuds were terrific! I used garlic salt instead of regular. After mixing it all up I put it in a 3 quart casserole dish and refrigerated it until I needed it a few hours later. Baked at 350 for 30 minutes."
"What WONDERFUL flavor this has! I set aside 1/2 cup of the recipe in a separate container from the meat marinade and used it for cooking. I marinated a 2 lb pork tenderloin for 24 hours. Put the meat in my crockpot. Made 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth from bouillon granules and mixed it with the reserved marinade. Cooked it for 1 hour on high, and..."
"The aroma in our house while browning the meat was absolutely incredible! I accidentally added the olive oil to the rub mixture. I made another batch of the dry stuff and rubbed it on the meat and then rubbed on the accident mixture as well. I guess you could say it got a "double rub." It turned out great. Next time think I'll try cooking for..."
"My husband said this was the best soup he ever had! He kept repeating "that it was awesome." I made a few minor adjustments. Added 1 tsp each of garlic powder and onion powder and another 1/4 tsp of pepper. I didn't steam the broccoli. I put it in during the last 5 minutes of cooking the potatoes Then I transferred the mixture into my crockp..."
