"Great way to prepare crab legs. It tastes better than the steaming microwave way, from Alton Brown, that I had been using - and I think it was easier. Since I was only cooking for me and DH, I found serving it in the baking dish nice and cosy, especially appropriate for Valentine's Day!Thank you for developing and posting the recipe!"
"I'm giving this 5 stars, even though I think it is too sweet, because it might be my fault - because I used red onion and fried it.I served it for a winter Texas BBQ with smoked brisket, and cooked cabbage, for my brother's birthday. I live in Canadian cold climate, with lots of snow. Thanks for sharing this recipe - every one for the winter B..."
"Simple is better. I cannot figure out why this tastes better than corn on the cob with butter, but it does. Maybe it's because you can scrape the corn milk into the pan. This recipe reminds me of http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Braised-Fingerling-Potato-Coins-350231 and Alice Water way of doing potatoes. Thanks Vicki"
"Mmmm - delicious. My husband is an avid tennis fan so I decided to make these for "Breakfast at Wimbledon". Served them warm, cut in half with Devon cream and strawberry jam. It was to die for ... sooo good. And we just may do that if we eat them, that way, more than once a year. But it's nice to really indulge sometimes. Thanks Kirste for a..."
"This one surprised me. I read the ingredients and thought that it would be quick and good. It was quick and delicious! Thanks for sharing. I will definitely make again."
"Well, this is pretty much what I remembered from my childhood - my mum's version of hamburger helper. It's good, but not great food, as was all my mum's cooking. I probably would have rated it a 3 - but my Scottish husband ate 3 helpings, so I had to rate it higher. No telling about those Scottish men, you can serve them great gourmet food, and..."
"Congrats Mirj - this a good Arrabiatta recip[e.I usually buy Classico Arrabiatta sauce, but didn't have any - so I made this recipe. (But I think I added closer to 1 tablespoon of peppers flakes, because I love heat.) I also added hot Italian sausages. I fried 1 lb of hot Italian sausages, until almost done. Then I removed them from the skil..."
"These were delicious! I served them with Texas smoked brisket and everyone said they went so well together I should nick-name them "brisket fries". I have made them since in the oven and they are equally good. I think next time I smoke a brisket, I may put some in the smoker for an hour, or two, before grilling, and see how they turn out."
"I made this last night with just a few variations. I used 1 can diced tomatoes and 1 bottle pureed tomatoes for the 2 cans of tomato sauce. Added 1 can red kidney beans and 1 can black beans, because I wasn't sure what kind chili beans were. Since I like spice I used 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp chipotle chili powder, 3 tbsp canned chipotles, mince..."
"I think this a solid 4 star. The sauce is a bit too sweet and needs some heat. I followed the sauce recipe exactly - but I didn't like how it looked after reducing (maybe my mincing skills are poor) so I put it in a food processor and pureed it. I didn't put the pork butt in the oven - but smoked it with apple wood chips in my Traegar smoker. The ..."
