"This was great. I had friends coming over to eat Mexican food one night and made this rice. I doubled the recipe so I had enough to freeze for other meals, and I ate it alone several times during the week for lunch. The only thing I had to add was more salt. I used the canned tomatoes and had to extend the cooking time around 15 minutes to ach..."

"This was so tasty! The only change I made was to use a whole chicken instead of pieces. I seasoned the bird inside and out with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. I browned it a bit on the stove top (without using flour, then continued to cook as written. The whole chicken took about an hour and a half in the oven. It smelled so good and w..."

"I made this recipe in my dutch oven recently. I adjusted the seasonings to my tastes (ie. adding a lot of garlic : and omitted celery and bell pepper. I also used chicken broth instead of water. Great comfort food!"

"These were so good my husband was upset I did not make him two sandwiches. : I did make some changes because of what I had on hand: Instead of deli roast beef I used leftover sliced pot roast and I didn't have any provolone on hand so I used shredded mozzarella. I did not have a can of french onion soup or beef consomme, so I used a packed of ..."

"I agree that it seemed like something was lacking from this recipe, so I will probably spice it up some next time, but my husband liked it. Then again, he thinks anything with ranch is fantastic. : Probably not a regular meal I will fix but a sure bet when 10 pound bags of potatoes are on sale!"

"I tried this recipe this weekend thanks to your reply to my post in the OAMC forum. I must say it was very successful! All the tips at the bottom of the recipe guided me well, especially the part about the gelatinous consistency. All of my years of cooking with canned, I would have thought I did something wrong! I used a roasted chicken carcas..."

"I halved this recipe to coat 8 ounces of quartered mushrooms. Fried them up with the oil at 320°F and they were better than the ones I get out at restaurants. Perfect batter (I only had to add a bit more flour than called for, but the tip on consistency was a big help in guiding me, and I will definitely try it next time I am frying fish."

"This is my new go-to chicken pot pie recipe. So easy and so good! The only changes I made was to use "Recipe #3743" in place of the can of cream of chicken and I used up some remnant bags of frozen veggies and roasted carrots from the night before in lieu of the can of Veg All. I was worried the crust would be too bland, but stuck with the reci..."

"This is great. I have mine stored in an old washed out pickle jar with the recipe taped to the outside for when it is gone. I've used this in casseroles, chicken pot pie, and a beef stew. So easy to make and much cheaper than spending money on cans of "guess what ingredients I really have"."
