    Reviewed The Great Australian Pikelets
    Handle
     |  By Catherine Robson

"I have made pikelets before but these were wonderful. Sweet, fluffy small pancakes which were eaten warm as they didn't get enough time to cool. My kids put nutella on them, my husband put peanut butter and honey and I put some sliced cheese on mine while they were still cooking for a melted cheesy version. All delicious!"

"I read a lot of reviews and then looked at the photos of the recipe. I then miraculously managed to make this recipe exactly as I wanted it and looking like Jenny Sanders' photo. I used raw lentils and boiled them for 45 minutes until they were soft enough, I chopped my oats in a small chopper so that they were smaller pieces as they were not..."

    Reviewed Lemon Yogurt Cupcakes
    Handle
     |  By Redsie

"Heavenly and as good as, if not better than the muffins you buy in cafes. I increased the lemon zest slightly and the juice as I didn't have extract. I used strained Greek yoghurt and added 2/3 cup of fresh blueberries at the end. The muffins had a very light almost crumbly texture and tasted absolutely wonderful. Thank you for posting."

"This recipe was wonderful. It was simple to beat the sugar with the melted butter (without the need to dirty anything electrical and the taste of the batter was the most delicious thing I have ever had. I had to force myself to actually bake this into cupcakes as I just wanted to spread the lovely fudgy batter onto bread and eat it! I cut back th..."

"I had always wanted to make a bread and butter pudding but it seemed overwhelming, not so this lovely simple recipe which gives heavenly results. I liked the portion control with the muffin-sized servings as it was very rich. I used brioche bread, dark choc chips instead of dried fruit and scraped out a vanilla bean instead of using vanilla essenc..."

"This was a fabulous recipe and well worth making. It had a 'restaurant' flair to it, something delicious and complex in flavour with a wonderful creamy sauce. We all ate it and we all enjoyed it. Thanks for posting."

"I found the recipe a little unclear in the first step which was to mix together the flour, sugar and butter. I grated the butter over the mixture and then used my fingers to make it even crumbs. The other steps were fine and the result delicious with a buttery base which was wonderful with the sweet tart blueberries."

"This was extremely easy to make and the final result tasted surprisingly like it had cheese in it though it didn't. It was a tasty mellow dish and a good way to use up some cabbage which had been sitting in the fridge."

"This was fabulous! It looked amazing and I gave it as a gift wrapped in cellophane with a big bow. I am making another three to give as presents this Christmas. The only thing I changed to make the recipe more kid-friendly (my kids won't eat nuts or dried fruit and cheaper to make is to coarsely chop some Oreo cookies and use them instead in the ..."

"I have had this recipe written down for ages but only made it recently when I managed to find some small ripe plum tomatoes. I was a bit disappointed in the beginning as they were very plump and juicy and I think I was expecting them to be more like sun-dried tomatoes. However when I tried them a few days later after storing them in glass jars wit..."
