"Birthday scones for husband/dada this morning. The whole family loved them! The combination of zest, salt, and sweetness was perfect. They were super moist. I am eager to see how they are tomorrow. Excellent recipe. I will definitely make these again! They are very tasty. The reviews that say otherwise are most likely unfamiliar with scon..."

"These are awesome! We add a half cup of chocolate chips to satisfy my chocolate cravings. We are making them today for the 3rd time. Be forewarned, I find them hard to stop eating!! I was surprised how great and easy this was to make for my first ever attempts at country fried steak. I made the gravy without the drippings and with butter so my husband could enjoy with biscuits. Yum!"

"This is a great sauce that you can make easily with spices on hand. I have made it twice now - once adding a can of diced tomatoes and once not. It is good either way. I prefer to leave out the black pepper, and I didn't have any bay leaves. Yummy!"
