"I made a mistake when I made this. I had room temperature butter, and was lazy enough not to melt it. When I went to go put it on top of the batter, it was just a few clumps, that sank to the bottom. "Thanks for the great soup...there is no going back to canned!I sauted my mushrooms with a tablespoon of chopped garlic, and mixed my flour in slowly with the stock before adding it to the mushrooms to avoid lumps...We have made this 3 times and it gets better each time we do!!"

"I thought this one was a little too much like eating spaghetti sauce. I thinned out my soup with the tomato sauce, but it was still like eating thinned out tomato sauce. Perhaps I will leave out the oregano next time....and try the V8, but sadly I don't think a next time will be any time soon...."
