    Reviewed Turkey Pasta Soup
    Handle
     |  By Carol G.

"It's a keeper! I used garlic and onion powder rather than fresh, and cooked all the seasonings (except the red pepper flakes with the meat, so it made it like sausage. I had leftover rotini, which worked beautifully. It was very flavorful and hearty. Topped it with red pepper flakes and parmesan, served it with sourdough and cabernet. Yum!"

"Outstanding! Such a unique and addicting flavor - a touch spicy, tart, sweet. I'm surprised it hasn't been reviewed yet, but glad I get to be the first one. I followed the recipe but I left out the optional parsley, used olive oil, and served it with right away (last minute dinner side with chicken apple sausages, but I had leftover sauce, so I ..."

"Perfect! I added cinnamon and sugar to the crust, and omitted the lemon juice and sultanas. I baked it at 325 and it took about an hour and a half. I left it in the oven as directed and it didnt crack--that was a first. It also came right off the foil covered spring form pan bottom. I made a whipped cream & sour cream topping and covered it with ..."

"Delicious! I didn't have a non-stick pan, so I ended up having to use more sesame oil, and also olive oil. Instead of penne, I made it with spaghetti. Other than that and using regulary mayo, I stuck to the recipe, and it turned out quite nicely. It was more mildly flavored than most dishes I make, but I liked the light and fresh flavor--my husba..."

Reviewed Pork Tenderloin With Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Pears
    Handle
     |  By StrikingEyes00

"Quick and delicious! I left out the pears & onions and didn't bother parboiling the sweet potatoes, but diced them fairly small to make sure they cooked quickly. I finished off the cooking by broiling it for 5 minutes to brown everything a bit. Turned out wonderfully. The herbs (I used dried rosemary complement the meat nicely, though I left them..."

"This review is just for the sauce, as I had a smaller tenderloin so I quick roasted it and served this on the side (to accommodate picky kids who like everything plain. Great flavor that really complements the pork. I used 2 green onions instead of a yellow onion, left out the green pepper, and used regular sodium soy sauce. It's reminscent of sw..."

Reviewed Kale Salad With Avocado for Two
    Handle
     |  By Sherri at the Beach

"My first time eating raw kale and I was surprised to enjoy it. I loved the flavor of the avocado and the bite from the onions. I didn't have tomatoes or red peppers, so I would like to try that next time. Maybe also nuts. I thought it needed more salt, so I added soy sauce and I would actually do that again. I didn't knead it for the full 3 minut..."

"Best technique for making Carbonara that I've tried so far. Got great results even with subbing sake for white wine, bacon for pancetta, left out the olive oil (used bacon drippings, and parmesan instead of romano. Also halved the garlic and omitted the red pepper flakes (served tableside so the kids would eat it, and they sure did!"

"So easy and delicious! I didn't measure but I'm fairly certain I doubled the cheese. I skipped using the oil at the end, and just dumped the noodles, water, and egg mixture together at the same time (an accident but it worked out fine. I also left off the mushrooms as I only had white ones, and I didn't think they would get cooked enough. Cooki..."

    Reviewed Why-I-Joined-Zaar Carrot Cake
    Handle
     |  By Lennie

"My first carrot cake was a hit thanks to this recipe! I actually ate it all (not just the frosting, as did everyone else, since the cake itself was so moist. My only changes were to omit the walnuts and to use half turbinado sugar since I ran out of white sugar. I also added a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the frosting."
