"Great soup for a cool, rainy day. Easy, fun to make. Didn't have carrots in the house, used celery instead, and added some fresh spinach leaves nearer to the end of cooking. Chose sausage this first time. Simply a winner!"
"Enjoyed very tender pork sirloin chops prepared in this manner, and nicely flavoured too. Used sage, salt and pepper as suggested and found it was all the seasoning that was needed, although I threw a half cup diced onion into the pot with the cabbage. Liked the ease of prep and the clear instructions. Served with nugget potatoes on the side. I w..."
"Yowza! This is the one! The marinade above all others! The steaks marinaded on the countertop for 24 hrs and were tender and flavourful. Added 1/4 cup red wine into the brew. Thanks, Kittencal!"
"What a surprise treat this salad was for my tastebuds! Love the flavours, the mint in particular, that spring to life with each bite. This is so easy to prepare and so rewarding to serve to others and see the smiles of delight! Serves 4 generously as a side dish. Thanks for posting, Moor Driver!"

I cooked on high setting for 2 hours, stirring once, then left it another 1/2 hour on the keep warm feature. I also added 2 or 3 tbsp of maple syrup. Thanks for posting!"

"A sensational addition to mealtime, and great to take as an appie to a social function. Cuts into smaller portions nicely and is good warm or cooled, although I like the flavour and texture more when still warm. I omit the melted butter on top and don't miss it. Love all the poppyseeds and double the onions on top. This bread is a great complemen..."
"Sensational soup! Enjoyed immensely for a hot lunch with cheese on toast. Pureed 3/4 of soup in blender, leaving some florets intact for texture and visual appeal. Will love to make again for taste, comfort factor, and ease and speed of prep. thanks!"
"Sensational!! Hearty and satisfying, and goes a long way. Used red potatoes, and, in addition to veggies in recipe, threw in some sliced leek and sliced celery stalk. Decided on 1/2 tbsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp cayenne, 1/8 tsp thyme, leaving remaining ingredients as indicated. Stew was done in 7 hrs and served up over a bed of parslied rice. We though..."
