"This chicken ROCKS! I used chicken breasts and thighs...it works well with any piece. Great spice rub (cayenne pepper is the same as crushed red pepper. I doubled the quantities on the sauce since we did breasts and I thought they might be a bit drier but they were still quite moist. Wonderful flavors, nice and crispy on the outside and juicy..."

"We liked it. I used chicken-apple sausage and apple cider vinegar and cut up the sausage, skipped the mustard since it didn't go with this type of sausage. The apples I "shredded" turned to mush though...use a firmer variety or just substitute with apple sauce, since the "mush" still tasted good mixed in with the cabbage! Thanks for something d..."

"This was good, although needed more flavor in the broth for our tastes. I might use beef broth next time, and as kithengrrl suggested might switch to red wine next time. I also browned the lamb first with all the spices to give it more flavor (as long as you simmer for awhile the lamb still gets tender, skipped the mint, and added a head of cho..."

"We loved this! I used cooked brown rice, so I skipped the broth. I also added 1/4 tsp paprika, 1 tsp parsley, and 2 shallots, plus 1 tsp hot sauce. I also only had cooked shrimp so added that towards the end right before you simmer everything together. We skipped the chicken and it still came out great!"

"Great idea...I used our favorite teriyaki sauce (Soyaki which already has the spices in it and some honey, although still added 1 tsp of the red pepper flakes and about 3 tbsp of toasted sesame seeds. Because we like lots of sauce -- 1 cup soyaki plus because my guys like a sweet flavor I added 1/4 to 1/2 cup extra honey (could skip the extra ho..."

"Okay, this should be called "healthier" vs. "healthy" (agreed but I think LEGG meant that using the lower-fat soups and cutting back on the biscuits makes this version better for you than a traditional version. With that said, I will probably skip the biscuits next time and try sprinking a breadcrumb mixture ontop instead next time since the..."

"Fantastic! Wasabi and butter were made to go together with seared ahi! You may only want to use HALF of the wasabi...I made twice the sauce so we could drizzle over each tuna steak over a bed of brown rice and still used the same amount of wasabi while doubling the rest and it still got us to tear and clear our sinuses...we laughed it off, but f..."

"We ultimately decided we liked it (much better on the second day after the flavors have melded -- yes you would want to mix this with the quinoa to go for the max blending of flavors, but the combination of flavors does take a bit of getting used to. I would skip the raisins next time -- this recipe is non-committal...either go all out with the ..."

"Super-moist and tasty way to prepare chicken. We used a very thick ranch dressing and it worked very well...I sprinkled a bit of extra crumbs on the top and then sprayed with butter spray and it browned nicely on top. Definitely a keeper! P.S. I used italian breadcrumbs instead of plain so skipped the italian seasoning, and since I tripled..."

"Really good, we loved it. I left out the water, however, for a very rich sauce. I also thoroughly browned the chicken and removed so I could simmer the sauce on its own, so no need to simmer for 20 minutes. I thought it would go really well with toasted cashews or peanuts...will try that next time."
