"Great recipe. Similar to other ones I've made. Only change that decreases prep time (and helps when tomatoes aren't fresh are to use a can of petite diced tomatoes. I also didn't have wine on hand, so used chicken broth instead. Really great. The bread does help clean up the extra sauce in the plate. Thanks!"

"Great recipe, but I think next time I will thin out the batter a little. When it stuck to the fish, it clumped. When I fried it, those "clumpy" areas were a little rubbery. It's a definate keeper in my cookbook!"

"Get a grip JillyBean1026! It's a great recipe. There's only a few ingredients in a chocolate mousse, so I'm sure there's many similarities. Don't ever post a recipe for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.. you'll sure get someone like yourself saying you didn't give credit to the original person!I wouldn't change a thing about this reci..."

"I have to agree with many writing a review. The batter is TOO thick with the recommended amount of water. I doubled it and it was better. This batter does stick to the vegetables, particularly to peppers, which I've always had problems with. BUT overall, I'm still searching for a lighter batter. This seems heavier than what I've had in restau..."

"I must admit, this didn't have much flavor. I agree with one, after making it, to use less flour. When I made it as written, it lacked flavor and had more of a "flour" taste. Would recommend to add flavor to it and less flour."

"Everyone's suggestions very helpful. I did others suggested, marinaded in ginger, garlic, five spice powder (<1 tsp and soy sauce, but one change I made that added to flavor, was to grate the ginger. It brought out more flavor. Would make again! Not too bad if watching your calories, too!"

"Suzy's posting is EXCELLENT! Great taste. It's perfect, but like others suggested, things can be added to a person's taste. I added 1/2 cup of red wine and used petite diced tomatoes (same amount. This gave a thicker soup. Also, a 1/4 cup (or less to tasteof Parmesan cheese to the soup base just before serving. This was very simple to ma..."
