"I just made this and it turned out wonderful. I am a little worried though because I made it today which is Wednesday, so I could use it on my fourth of July cake. I wanted to save time on the fourth. Now I am worried about it getting rubbery like someone said below. Do you think it will be alright for my cake kept that long or should I remake it ..."
"Really good and it is low carb if you use Splenda instead of sugar. I change up the cheese. Sometimes cheddar, a little parm or even pepper jack. I think you could prob use ham or chick if you were out of bacon and it would taste fine."
"I wasn't sure about the amount I needed for my pie. Thanks for reminding me I needed two boxes and I had also forgot how much milk for it. I knew it was less than the box called for when you add the cool whip to the mix. I. Am going to top this with crushed peanut butter cups and my DH will love this. Thanks. The five stars is because I have ..."
"This is a great cake and one you can change around. I make this with carrot cake and frost with cool whip FROSTING not the cool whip. I used chocolate frosting and crushed butterfingers. Either way it is so good. Leave it in the pan at least overnight in fridge."
"Excellent! I just went out back and picked some blackberries, added a little sugar and crushed them for a great topping. I will add a dash of cool whip later just before serving. Half the recipe made two generous servings in my custard cups. I added a little vanilla and just a bit of tutti fruity flavoring. I guess I could have made four serving..."
"This turned out great. I did use all brown sugar because I didn't have white. I am glad the poster wrote about trying it with splenda. I thought about that but glad I didn't. It was mr birthday so I threw caution to the wind and used real sugar. Lol."
"I do like this. I had one almost just like this for Thanksgiving from George Stella's site. He use to have a show on Food Network called, "Low Carb and Loving It"....caluliflower is an amazing bread substitute."
"I cut the sugar by 1/4 cup because some had said it was too sweet. I ended up adding a little more sugar in the form of powdered sugar at the end to cut the lemon. I definetely would make this again but I will use all the sugar called for next time. I think it would have been perfect if I had followered directions. It is very good. Thank you for..."
"This is the one I make but I do put it in the oven with crushed cracker crumbs on top. Saltines or Ritz both work well. Add a little butter to the saltines, the Ritz doesn't need it. I sometimes will putcubed potatoes instead of peas too. You can use the canned ones or partial cook some. Capers are nice in this too. Just a couple TBS."
