"This is the same recipe I use, and it's the best you will find! Simple, and authentic Tex-Mex! Homemade fajitas would be no good without this addition.
Sometimes, I add some chopped cilantro and use lemon juice, but just for variety."

"Everyone I know loves eggplant parmesan, but usually it's so high in fat and calories it has to be a rare treat. This recipe can be lower in both by using low fat cheeses and spray olive oil, and it's baked instead of fried.
I make my own sauce using my own home grown tomatoes and basil. It could not be better! And I make and freeze small p..."

"I have been making a dish very close to this one for many years. This one is very good, but in my experience, some chopped onions (yellow or green and a few dashes of either Tobasco Sauce or flaked red peppers do it wonders! I brown the onions before using in the recipe, and sometimes do the whole thing in the skillet, covering near the end to ..."

"Like others, I found that the batter was too dry. In fact, I could not make it stick together at all, and today is a very damp day. I looked up other biscotti recipes and they all contained butter, so I added 1/2 cup of butter, and zap! Wonderful! Everything worked as described and the family loves it!"

"Just a comment - I'm about to use this recipe, as it is exactly how I remember my grandmother making watermelon rind PICKLES. It's supposed to taste like sweet pickles. The other recipes here are actually preserves, I think, and would taste as such."

"This recipe tastes just like I remember the sandwiches when I used to go to New Orleans on business back in the 80's. The Muffalettas during the work-thru lunches made the meetings fly by! The only thing that wasn't perfect was the olive salad; it seemed to have too much liquid and totally saturated the bread. Perhaps I was supposed to drain off t..."

"Absolutely superb! I've made it once and I'm about to make it again. Last time it lasted only a day or two, so I may double it this time."

"What can I add to the already 5-star ratings? Everyone raved about this soup, served a day after I made it. Only thing I changed was to put some roma tomatoes (cut in chunks into the pot during the last simmering, and I cooked my own black beans. Wonderful soup!"

"This is a superb dish, and not too hard to make. I used roma tomatoes, cut in 1/4's, but everything else was per recipe. One thing of note - I made this a day ahead, due to time constraints, but sampled it right after completion. Then, the next day it was served. It was better the day after than when first made, as it seasoned. I'd recommend ..."
