"The teen grumbles at every vegetable he gets served, even ones he doesn't mind. I was braced for it this time, but he actually LIKED it! I thought it was okay and would have given it a 4, but since he ate a whole half without complaining, I'm giving it the whole 5 stars. Yippee for getting a teenage boy to eat squash!"

"I make this a couple times a year and cannot believe I've never rated it. The basic recipe is good, but I find it a little bland. I kick up the seasonings, add garlic and a little paprika, and usually use some pepperjack cheese to give it additional flavor. I had a leftover piece of smoked gouda that I threw in once and that was phenomenal. I do u..."

"I like doing equal quantities spiced, light, and coconut rums. I also left out the soda part. Still delicious when shaken up and served over ice."

"I had some leftover yellow rice, so I just made the bean part. I used green, yellow, and red peppers since I had a bunch that were starting to soften. Even the teen gave his stamp of approval, although he did comment he woul..."

"I quartered the potatoes and used half butter, half olive oil instead of all butter. It came out exactly what I was picturing, and went beautifully with my Easter lamb dinner."

"Well, this is twice as much juice as the way I know to make it, and I think it is awfully diluted as written, so I cut that down. I frequently use Cranberry-Pomegranate 100% juice instead of straight pom juice. It's supposedly good with citrus vodka but I just use regular and do a squirt of lemon concentrate in it. yummy! I didn't know this was Op..."

"Love it! I used an 8x8 pan and was pleased with the crust thickness. I used cinnamon graham crackers, semi-sweet chocolate chips, a handful of white chocolate chips, coconut, pecans, and dried cranberries. The condensed milk didn't seem completely cooked at 25 minutes, so I left it in a little longer. Oh, yum. Absolutely keeping this recipe close ..."

"I followed other reviewers' suggestion and bumped up the baking soda plus added the extra yolk. I mistakenly had the oven temperature a little low, which means it took longer to cook, leading to me overbaking slightly. Oops. They still came out fantastically yummy. Definitely saving for future batches!"
