"This is delicious. My husband and I enjoyed it. Actually it was surprisingly good. I didn't expect much. I've had this recipe printed out for a couple of years and never made it.
I'm growing a lot of beets this year and wanted something new to do with them.

I followed the recipe as written. I think that it's important to follow th..."

"Wonderful! I added some bacon drippings to the oil to make almost a 1/3 cup of oil. Garlic clove was minced and stirred into the hot bacon drippings for about a minute. I garnished each of two plates with hard cooked egg slices.I served this lovely salad with mozzarella garlic toast. Nice meal. I think this would be equally nice with spinach...."

"This is delicious! It's an odd little recipe that I found when hunting for a tamale style casserole. (It misses on that score. I didn't use 1/2 cup of oil. I used just enough to saute the onions. I baked this in a 10" Corning Ware casserole dish. I tossed some shredded longhorn cheese on top about 10 minutes before it was done. Served it..."

"My family enjoyed this dish. I'm very happy to have found this recipe. I chose this over a couple of other similar ones because it had few ingredients which makes it easier to get the flavors just right for my family. I knew when I first read the recipe that the orange flavor would need some punching up. So, I used the juice of one orange an..."

"Nice and easy. I made these with a chicken salad and sliced tomato filling. I just trimmed the crust off the bread and didn't cut them into rounds. I left out the lettuce because I assumed it would gen a bit limp. After making them I can see I was probably wrong about that. These sandwiches are quite filling. Next time....and their will be a ne..."

"Easy and Delicious! I haven't tasted better ribs. I followed the recipe as written and used my own barbecue sauce. When the ribs went into the oven, I poured off fat from the browning pan, deglazed it with a little water, and made my sauce. I think this technique would work well with beef ribs or even a flank steak. We really enjoyed this one! I..."

I got lots of compliments and there wasn't a bite left over. I'll be making this one again. I sliced two extra large onions and sauteed them with the garlic in butter and a little olive oil. I used this to ..."

"Delicious cranberry nut bread. I used frozen berries because there are no fresh ones here in the desert. I like the flavor of the butter in this recipe better than the bland vegetable oil called for in my old standard. Very nice. Thanks."
