"This is a great basic recipe for some experimentation. I didn't have cocoa so used hot chocolate mix. Because of this I added 1 tsp nutmeg and a dash of cardamom to pump up the flavour a bit. "Easy, tasty, simple to find ingredients...what a combo. We used stewing beef instead of a roast because of the cost, and onion soup from a dry mix. There were an initial 8 servings then we froze the leftovers. The gravy was fabulous!"
