"I know it's counterproductive to make a vegan biscuit and then pour sausage gravy all over it, but that's what I did. I made the biscuit's as described but I made the gravy in the same pan I made my breakfast sausages on (safe to assume I'm not vegan, right). The gravy was flavorful and not too salty. Thanks again for another yummy recipe!"

"This was a great, fast dish to accompany the spicy garlic shrimp I made for dinner tonight. I only used one eggplant but I kept the amounts the same for the ingredients (maybe reducing the hoisin to 2 tbsp instead and using chicken broth instead of water). I also only simmered the eggplant for 10mins and it was tender but not soggy. Perhaps it w..."

    LinMarie says:

"I make this dish quite frequently, as my father taught me how to make it when I was about 7yo. Only, I saute chopped tomatoes in the oil first for 2 mins, then add the beaten eggs and scramble it altogether and season with salt and pepper. Next time I'll try the green onions. Terrific served with toast or even with white rice. Thanks for posting!"

"I went to school in Montreal and there was this restaurant on St. Laurent called Mezze that served the BEST fried eggplant appetizer and tzatziki sauce I had ever had. Being so far from there now, this really satisfied my craving for just that. I loved the fritter batter (I added a pinch of cayenne and paprika to it) but I thinned it out with a co..."

    LinMarie says:

"I cooked my naan on a heated cast iron skillet on my gas stove-top and it was perfect (retained heat well and did not stick). Instead of butter I used ghee (clarified butter) and I turned this into 'garlic naan' by adding 4 minced cloves of garlic to 2 tbsp of ghee and brushed it on one side of the dough before i threw it on the hot skillet. Just ..."

"This went very well with my buttered chicken recipe! I would add more coconut milk next time, as this was more subtle, but it was a pretty color and perfect texture. Thanks very much for this simple and yummy recipe :)"

"DH loved these short ribs! They were moist, tender and had a great beefy flavor. I didn't make the horseradish sauce, but they were delish without (even better the next day). I didn't used the flour at the end either since my sauce was just the right consistency. Thanks for posting!"

"Very yummy and simple to make! I make cheese quesadillas all the time for my kids, but this recipe makes it a little more interesting for the grownups. I used a combination of colby jack and cheddar. I think next time I'll add some shredded leftover grilled chicken for a heartier meal. Thanks for posting! This was made for Fall PAC '09."

"Ahhhh... just like my mom makes (minus an ingredient or two). This is comfort food for me, so I just had to make it when I stumbled upon this recipe :) I used bacon and cubed SPAM (yes! you read it right!) and I omitted the roast pork, green pepper and carrots and used garlic, green onion (along with the minced onion), peas and shredded a quarter ..."

"Yay! A chicken recipe that isn't 'blah'! I had a bunch of thawed out dark chicken parts (bone in/skin-on) in the fridge and I wondered what I'd do with them this afternoon... luckily I found this recipe and had everything on hand. The only changes I made were that I chose to cook this on the stove top rather than finish in the oven (sort of braisi..."
