"This soup was very good and I'll be making it again, with one adjustment. The 2 teaspoons of worcesterhire were too much for my taste (too tangy). I might leave it out or just add 1/2 teaspoon next time. As suggested by other reviewers, I only added 1/2 cup of barley and that amount was perfect. I also added more celery and carrots."
"Love this recipe! I could eat it everyday. I do change a few things, due to personal taste. I use a whole cup of tomatoes and omit the red bell pepper and jalapenos. I also use less oil and more sugar in the dressing."
"I wasn't sure about all the onion in this recipe, but I made it exactly as it says (except I couldn't find peanut oil and had to use canola). It was SOOO good! I put it on an iceberg lettuce, cucumber and tomato salad and it was awesome. It's good on chicken too. It's actually good on almost everything. I will be making this dressing all the ..."
"For taste, I would give this 4 stars, but because it was so easy, it gets 5 from me. I think this soup really needs to simmer for a while to let the flavors blend. Just heating it up isn't enough, in my opinion. After tasting it, I thought it needed something, so I added 1/2 teaspoon each of garlic and onion powder, which I think helped a lot...."
"I did everything the directions said, but it didn't work for me. I peeled 2 eggs and little chunks of white came off with the shell on both. Then the 3rd egg was even worse and huge pieces of white stuck to the shell and ripped off. I gave up after that and put them back in ice water to see if they would work better when they were completely co..."
"My cheesecake is done baking and is in the oven cooling now. I don't know what I did wrong. It got dark brown on top and cracked big time. It puffed up a lot before it starting sinking. I hope it tastes better than it looks."
"Great recipe! I made a few changes though. I added garbanzo beans, very finely chopped Vidalia onion and omitted the green onion and pepper. I find bell peppers to be overpowering and I'm not a huge fan of them to begin with. I used Cardini's Light Greek Vinaigrette dressing and I cubed the feta instead of crumbling. Definitely a keeper!"
"Best bread I've ever made!!! I was going to put the ingredients in the machine according to it's manual, instead of the recipe, but decided at the last minute to follow the recipe exactly. It turned out great. Very soft. The taste (and smell) was wonderful too. I would not change a thing."
"What did I do wrong? I followed the recipe exactly and it never got thick. I finally turned off the blender and was left with a thin yellow liquid. Very disappointing. :o("
