"Fantastic! Easy to make, and you would never know they were whole wheat. Crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. I also like more peanut butter so I used 1/4 cup margarine and 3/4 cup peanut butter. I couldn't stop my 2 1/2 year old (who normally won't eat oatmeal or peanut butter from eating the batter! Thanks for a great whole wheat recipe!..."

"Excellent recipe, very tasty, and you dont feel as if you are missing out on meat. A forgiving recipe as we have altered the vegie/lentil ratio depending on circumstance, and used cheddar cheese (I dont know what monterey jack is. I also used powdered taco/burrito sauce with some water instead of the premade stuff. Next time I think I'lkl try it ..."

"Oh my dear these are good! We made them without the chocolate chips. My husband and I have made them lots for family/friends. The last couple of times we made them we substituted about 1/4 cup of the butter for peanut butter, and I'll tell you, not all of the mixture made it into the oven!"
