"I was looking for a recipe to use up all the leftover jam at the bottom of the jam jars in the fridge. I substituted leftover jam and a bit of water for the pumpkin, still used the pumpkin pie spice, and they turned out nicely. It's the pumkin pie spice really makes this cookie.
