    LinMarie says:

"It was VERY SWEET, considering that I used less than 1/4 cup of sugar and two small bananas. I did not add any additional fruits or sugar to it after baking. I might skip the sugar entirely next time, but it is a good recipe for future use, I think it just needs to be tweaked to suit the tastes of those eating it. But considering that I LIKE sweet..."

"This was delicious! I had just under a pound of catfish nuggets and used up all of the batter. The fish was perfectly cooked. I made this as written but if you wanted, you could probably add a little pepper or something to add flavor to it. i served with tartar sauce and oven fries (didn't want to over do the fried foods thing). Give it a try!"

    LinMarie says:

"simple to make, baked perfectly. I had 4 small bananas and used them, really I never measure the mashed banana amount, I just use however many I have in the recipe. These were amazing out of the oven and I hope they remain wonderful a day or two later."

Reviewed Baked Sweet and Sour Chicken

    LinMarie says:

"it was a bit of work to make, but overall, a quick and satisfying recipe for those moments when you crave sweet and sour chicken, but lack the cash, green peppers, pineapple and other ingredients to imitate the stuff you get at the chinese place. It's not terrible, it's just not the absolute best."

    LinMarie says:

"The only confusing portion of the directions was the part about watching the yeast. I've never baked bread before so I had no idea what I was looking for. You're looking for "foam". I made mistakes left and right (this is my first time though), didn't have anything to add to it but olive oil, didn't grease the pan enough and it still turned out AM..."

"Made these for Pancake Tuesday snack at the preschool, we have a student with an egg allergy. I doubled the recipe and used whole milk instead of Soy, it was PERFECT. You would never have guessed these were made without eggs. I also added chocolate chips to a few to get the scrawny kid who won't eat anything to eat them. This is my new regular pan..."

    LinMarie says:

"I was not impressed by the premade Polenta but didn't want to give up on the dish entirely but didn't have time to stand around in the morning stirring a pot of mush. This method is PERFECT. I halve the recipe (it's just for me) and instead of preparing it with chicken stock, just prepare it with either 1 C water and 1 C milk or 2 C milk and let i..."

"easy and excellent recipe. I've made oven brown rice before and found that I'd end up having to cook it for nearly two hours. This recipe is wonderful, no mistakes. This will be the staple way I cook Brown Rice from now on."
