"UPDATED REVIEW: Over the years I've come to like beans in general more than I used to, including black eyed-peas, and have to say, this recipe is really wicked good. Thank you so much for posting the recipe. We've been having it every New Year ever since I found it, and would happily make it more than once a year, too. ;-
OLD REVIEW: Thi..."

"This dish is so full of Win. Wow. I halved the recipe, used less olive oil than called for (just eye-balled it and used a can of green beans in place of fresh (given more time I'd used fresh, but I don't think canned hurt the dish at all so it didn't even take the predicted 36 minutes to make. Fast is great, but more importantly: healthy and del..."

"This was super tasty! Scaled back to serve 2, and made just a couple changes based on what I had on hand: used 2 largish cloves of garlic, chopped finely, in place of garlic powder and sauteed that in the butter for a couple minutes before adding the mushrooms; used 6oz cremini mushrooms, sliced; used arugula instead of spinach, not stirred into t..."

"This does have a very nice flavor! I used tofu and veggie broth for the chicken and chicken broth, but followed all else as listed. My broth also did not thicken well - hardly at all, really - so next time I'll either increase the cornstarch or decrease the broth. Thanks!"

"This sauce is super-delicious! And the walnuts end up perfectly toasted. We had it with fresh sliced pears on the side. It's be worth trying with pumpkin ravioli/tortellini too; would go well with the cheese and walnuts. Thanks!"

"Wow, this is really really super! I doubled the cumin & coriander because 1/4 tsp didn't seem like much (and because I love cumin & coriander, and I used a can of diced tomatoes, drained. It turned out deliciously! Thanks for the recipe."

"Really delightful recipe! The vinegars give it a great bite! Can't go wrong with the spice mix here either. I marinated the meat for 24 hrs (because I had started rather late the night before and was too hungry to wait 3 hours! so I left it in the fridge till next day. Did everything else as directed, served over jasmine rice. I'll definitely mak..."

"This was amazing! Made exactly as described, but scaled down for two. I'm already planning to make this again for friends this weekend. Such a refreshing combination of flavours! And very filling without leaving one feeling heavy. It'd be really nice as a summer salad with a chilled white wine. :-"

"I didn't have any mushrooms and I substituted 15oz broth for 16oz water and 2tsp chicken bouillon powder, but did everything else according to the recipe. It was fantastic! Light, full of flavor and very easy to put together."

"This is really delicious! And super easy, too. I marinated the fillets in the spice mixture for about 15 minutes then cooked them in a pan for 4 minutes on each side, pouring any excess mixture over the fillets. They turned out perfectly. Served with rice and green beans."
