"We gave this 3 stars as it was a great base to work from. We followed the first most helpful review and added 1 1/2 tsp. white pepper, 1 tsp. dried basil, and 1/2 tsp. thyme and that perked things up a little. Thanks stacylu for a great base soup to work from. Will probably drop the pepper a little and today added shredded leftover BBQ chicken ..."

"Lovely Jubbly! We subbed some pickled jalapenos as we can't get canned in Australia. But apart from that cooked as described. Yum - thanks Deb!"

"For someone who doesn't like coconut - man this was great! We followed the recipe to the letter, but used moist flaked coconut so the texture was great for us. Off to lick the icream maker bowl again :"

"Was an okay way to get rid of the leftover ham from Christmas. I would have cut the ham a little smaller though. We subbed the fresh onion with 1 tsp of onion powder and added 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, but we felt it missed something still. Will perhaps try a little cayenne or some herbs as another reviewer suggested. Thanks for helping clean ..."

"Wow! Yum! We didn't have chicken so used blade steak, sliced and marinated. Really delicious. We used tortillas with avocado, tomato, lettuce, sour cream and grated cheese. Will definitely cook this one again.
Cooked this again this evening with chicken breasts cut in half to make them thinner. Served with mashed potato, peas and co..."

"Well, we think this recipe might be a five - it's hard to tell though at the moment. Unfortunately DH misinterpreted the amounts of cayenne required - therefore I currently have reduced hearing from the burn of 1 teaspoon plus a dash of cayenne! Other than that it was delicious - will post another review after consuming commercial quantites of a..."

"Damn you Kittencal!!!! Every time we cook your food we loooooove it! You are certainly one of our go- to-gals for recipe ideas. This was delish! Only thing we'd change is cooking the gravy down a little less so it was thinner."

"We gave this a four star using the following changes. Doubled the recipe - using a 400gm can of tuna in springwater. Used one big carrot, subbed the green onion for 1 teaspoon of chive goosh. Cayenne was 4-5 big shakes from the bottle. Added an extra egg, making it 3. Used panko crumbs and added some dried italian herbs and parsley."
