    "I used leftover oatmeal in these. I also added a tablespoon of beet juice so they would be pink...this was for the little girl who was not enjoying the big or the little brother today.     "These were very good. My second favorite of all time, but the three kids thoughts these were even better than the regular recipe. In fact three kids ages 4, 3, and 1 ate the whole batch except for 2 pancakes. We put corn cob jelly on them, oh and apple peel jelly. And I ate mine plain because I'm weird that way. Good recipe."

    "We used to have these in Germany. My host mom was the best cook. Just made them for the kiddos...all three loved them. This is not our normall kind of food...we rarely eat this much butter, or high carb noodles, but the kids thought this was the best noodles ever...and they were in love."

    "These were great. I didn't have brown sugar so I used white and added a bit of honey to up the flavor. I also reduced the sugar and increased the peanut butter as others have.
