Great texture etc, and lower in fat...Second time preparing, took some of the other suggestions and replaced 1 cup flour with whole wheat pastry flour, added 1 teaspoon nutmeg, 1 tablespoon cinnamon--and also orange rind. Really good stuff. Now, we're wondering if this would work as muffins."

"Crumb topping was a nice touch, but the muffin itself was only okay... nothing special. It was moist, but needed more (maybe cinnamon in the batter?. There are better muffin recipes. Not horrible, but wouldn't make it again."

"Almost satifying. Without a crust, it doesn't have the feel of a cake. But if you're looking for a lite dessert, it at least comes somewhat close to cheesecake, in taste. Biggest disappoint: doesn't rise that much (wasn't more than 1/2 inch thick. Added 1/8 teaspoon of almond extract and that made it."

"Chose this recipe based on 20+ positive reviews, but I totally disagree! What a waste of fresh, tasty berries. The dough was flavorless, spooning the vanilla over the berries added an "off" flavor. There are better recipes for blueberry cobbler, for sure. "
