    About Me

I used to cook when I went camping during my youth over an open flame and loved every dish and every minute of it. After married, I mostly worked and didn’t have time to cook so the wife did most of that. Now that we are separated, I had to cook for myself and found the passion that I once had in my youth. What’s more, I am pretty good at it! I am searching for healthy recipes to take off the weight I gained in marriage and this site is helping deliciously!

    Favorite Foods

I kind of lean to the one pot meals, stews, roasts, crock pot recipes, and serve with a bed of rice. Leftovers store in the freezer very well so I always have something to eat when I don’t have time to cook. I have tried some soups and they were amazing. Mostly use beef, but have cooked chicken, fish, ham and pork with great success. Tried lam one time but couldn’t get past the fatty taste. I even fallowed a recipe that eliminated allot of the fat, but it is what it is.
