    divorced mum of one daughter and one son. daughter getting married in february 2009.(JUST MENTIONING THIS SO U HAVE A ROUGH IDEA OF MY AGE - and no, im not admitting how old i am!) love cooking especially baking, and trying out new recipes. im famous for my bakewell tart and anything made with pastry. i can make a pretty good chocolate fudge cake too! im vegetarian, my kids arent so its always a challenge to make something that everyone enjoys. my main moan when i cook meat or chicken or fish dishes for them is that because im vegetarian and i cant taste it, i dont know if it needs any salt, extra herbs, etc. so cooking non vegetarian meals(i dont mind cooking and handling flesh foods - long as i dont have to eat it!) is a hit or miss affair. i tend to follow non vegetarian recipes exactly as written and let my kids tell me what they prefer after they taste it.

    i love pasta dishes. very versatile food.
