    Reviewed The Ultimate Lemon Meringue Pie

    "This was my first time making lemon meringue pie (or any pie with meringue) and I was pleased with how it came out. Everyone raved about it, and I already received several requests to make it again.

    My alterations:

    Crust-I used a Pillsbury premade crust

    Filling-After reading the reviews, I I used a good 1/3 cup of corn..."

    Reviewed Royal Icing

    "This was my first time making Royal Icing, and this was an easy recipe to follow. I substituted lemon extract for the vanilla, and couldn't taste any lemon. So I would suspect that much more lemon or vanilla would be needed to actually get any sense of additional flavor. The icing dried harder than I would have liked, but that may just be a feat..."

    "I thought these tasted good, but needed a bit more sweetness as well as more spice (I ended up putting royal icing on them so that made up for some of the sweetness...but then they were too sweet). But the recipe was really easy to follow. The only part that was unclear was in step 2. I didn't know if "well blended" was until they were mixed or ..."
