I live in Renfrew, Ontario, Canada and I am the Mom of two lovely young women who have proved to me over and over how very proud I am of them. I've been married to my "first and only love" for 32 years now (oh my) and I hope to get 32 more. I love to cook. It's been a passion for as long as I can remember. I live for cookbooks and recipes of all kinds. I spend hours reading cookbooks and on the internet checking out all the recipe sites.I found this site by accident and am I glad that I did!I love healthy recipes and low fat stuff.I work full time and try to exercise (walk, swim, walk the dog) as often as I can.I love animals and my favourite time of year is Fall and pouring rain. I am looking forward to trying out many many recipes with all the Recipezaar members.
My favourite dish to cook I'd have to say would be soup.Like the "stone soup" story, I seem to be able to make a pot of soup out of anything.I love creating new flavours and trying out different things.I always have a pot on the stove and it's usually made with that weeks leftovers (but don't tell my family). My favourite restaurant would be Chinese or Thai.
