My husband and I are both now retired and enjoying life We have three married daughters and five precious grandchildren, 3 girls & 2 boys, and 2 more on the way:)
For as long as I can remember I have loved collecting & reading cookbooks & recipes. Being an only child I also started cooking from an early age as it was something I could do on my own encouraged by my mother & father who were both good cooks. I believe finding Recipezaar was the next best thing to sliced bread :)
The recipes in my cookbooks are ones that I have tried & reviewed or ones that I want to try. For this reason I don't get to post a lot of my own.....too busy with everyone else's:)
For the past year I have been on a journey to a more Primal/Paleo/Low carb way of eating for my health which I am happy to say has improved immensely:) Note that the recipes I have posted were before this time LOL
***Note that my joining date shows as 2012 when in fact it was 2001 :)
Note: For review purposes my ratings are mainly 4 or 5 stars meaning that I loved the recipe for ease of making, taste, & one that I will make again & go into my "keepers" file. For 5 stars the recipe has to have the former plus also what I would rate as a "wow" factor for taste or a recipe that I feel for me could not be improved or one that my family request often. I only make recipes that are made with ingredients we like, so most are either 4 or 5 stars. Be assured though that 4 stars is certainly high praise. I hope this makes some sort of sense:)

My favorite food would have to be chocolate!!!! In saying that though, I do enjoy a wide range of other foods except for organ meats and fish. I do eat tinned salmon and tuna though!
