I am originally from Texas. My husband was from Michigan and I lived there for about 20 years. After he passed away I moved back to Texas. I have been here just little over a year and miss Michigan terribly. I will probably be moving back next summer. My favorite cookbook would have to be The Knight's Of Columbus from the West Branch, Michigan Post; which my son confiscated..
I more or less taught myself to cook with much trial and error. My brother thought he was going to starve to death before I finally mastered the art! LOL Poor guy...
Some of my favorite foods are homemade chili, lasagne, soups, stews and casseroles. Ha! Sounds like I just like to eat.
