I'm a vegetarian, health-food-loving mom of two preschool boys. I love to get good value, variety, and nutrition from our food, and I'm always looking for new recipes to try, or alter with my own creative ideas.
I try to keep added sweeteners as reduced as possible, preferring the natural sweetness of fruit and grain. When needed, I prefer to use natural sweeteners like honey, molasses, and maple syrup.
I like whole foods, and real foods. I buy very little that is processed. I don't like foods that have ingredients that have been created by chemists.
What else would someone here want to know about me? Random minutiae: I have red hair, am left-handed, have one three-legged cat and one seemingly bullimic cat. My favorite cuisine styles are Indian and Thai, and I adore trying new things. I guess that's why I spend so much time poring through the databases here!!!
