    About Me

    Getting ready to retire and Hit the Road. Making a 12-month trip around the country, visiting family and friends, visiting all those restaurants in parts of the country that I have read about all these years. So if there is a restaurant I shouldn't miss, let me know. Doing the perimeter of the country and along the way will find someplace I want to stay forever.
    My sisters and I are finally doing that family cookbook this hard to narrow it down to 200 or so!

    Favorite Foods

    Favorites are too hard and confining. I love making soups and casseroles for my poor and sweet law student. Famous for Tiramisu and Paella. My favorite Seattle restaurants are any owned by Tom Douglas, Tilth, Crow, Flying Fish.

    Favorite cookbooks is also too hard. I have 200+. My daughters don't cook much, so if I had to tell them which ones to keep it would be J. Child, J Beard, Ina Garten, Caprial Pence, Silver Palate, and at least a few of those baking books! (Maybe Sara Foster, Cat Cora, B. Flay, T Florence, F. Stitt, oh, I could go on and on...)
