    About Me

    I enjoy cooking but I do a really poor job of timing meals. Things always finish at different times and some times they go 'differently' than I expected. Lucky for me, my husband Greg cooks very well. He generally leads the cooking of meals and I generally work on 'specialties.' It's a good combination! He doesn't like recipes - he'd rather cook by instinct. I adore recipes - but always change them to suit what I have in the kitchen, can find in stores or just have a yearning to taste.

    Favorite Foods

    Seafood is a favorite. It used to be so challenging finding good seafood in the middle of the U.S. but a lot has changed. We have really good, relatively fresh seafood in every grocery store. It a fun part of being grown up - all of my seafood isn't breaded & frozen or sold in a can.

    I love to bake and I'm focusing on healthier foods - less yeast and fat, more whole foods.
