I am a very lucky lady. I live in a small town in Ontario, Canada with my wonderful husband who is my best friend. Our cherished son, beautiful daughter in law and adorable granddaughter live in the city close by, we get to visit with them frequently.
We are very excited we are first time grandparents ...Yeah!
Our feet never touched the ground the day we were told that the baby was to be a girl. I'm sure that the sheer force of our smiles alone could have lit all the light bulbs in the neighborhood. We couldn't wait to meet our granddaughter. Shes here, she's here ... Introducing Miss Carlin
It was love at first sight and we are completely in awe, she is perfect.
It's been almost 4 years and I am still having the time of my life. Nana is the best word in the whole world, next to mamma. I melt whenever I hear her say Nana.
She is such a big girl now and will be attending kindergarten all day, starting in September.

I started cooking and baking when I was 16 years old, I must say that my cooking and baking continues to improve everyday, as do my photo taking skills, (a work in progress) thanks to all the wonderful people here, who are willing to share their recipes, secrets, tips, hints, skills and talent.

I strive to prepare fresh, flavorful food that appeals to all our senses. My favorite cuisines are Asian, Greek, Southern and Caribbean.
If I had to choose one item that I couldn't live without, it would be homemade bread. Ummm just the smell, satisfys all my senses.
The meal I crave the most will always be Thai, I enjoy the amazing flavors and textures, it wins me over everytime.
One of my favorite meals is Green Mango Salad, Hot & Spicy Lemon Soup, Red Curry Drizzled over Crispy Jumbo Coconut Shrimp and Coconut rice (jasmin) with buco water.
