    About Me

I live in Florida and have 3 boys aged 10,11 and 13. I work from home which is good because I'm here when the children get home from school.

I hated figuring out what to cook for dinner each day. I love Recipezaar because I can find so many great recipes easily, and swap ideas with other cooks. I think I'm becoming a better cook, and I'm having so much fun that I keep trying more new recipes.

    Favorite Foods

I love throwing everything into a crockpot and simmering all day. I also like homemade soups. Probably my family likes my soups the best.

As a child I used to watch my grandmother cook a rhubarb or cherry pie from scratch every day. She'd lay the crust over a pie plate, press pastry into the plate, slice around the edge with a knife, and mark the edges with a damp fork. It looked so easy. I've always wanted to make a pie. I've found a good recipe so I'm going to try it.

I love to eat out at Sweet Tomatoes.
