    Shared Recipe Smoked Salmon Pasta

"This is another recipe from my friend Chantel. I've had this dish at her place and thoroughly enjoyed it. She uses hot smoked salmon rather than the cold smoked and she sometimes substitutes Lobster or crab for the smoked salmon."

Shared Recipe Bread & Butter Pickles

"This is a recipe my mother use to make many years ago. I would normally say that it was one of my favourites but all of Mom's pickles were amazing! Posting it here now that I have the recipe so that it is at easy reference when I want to make another batch!

Preparation time does not include allowing the vegetables & salt time to sit."

    Shared Recipe Mulligatawny Soup

"This is a recipe I tried some time ago. A friend gave it to me after I insisted on having the recipe after she served me this soup. Not sure where she got it from but it is one that I have and plan to use frequently!"

    Shared Recipe Mom's Cucumber Relish

"Here is a recipe that Mom has made for years. It was one of the favourites in the home-cook pantry and one that rarely lasted very long. Mom always used regular cucumbers from the garden, NOT the typical pickling cucumbers"

    Shared Recipe Mom's Mustard Pickles

"Now that Mom has difficulties standing for long periods of time, I have received her recipes for all the great stuff that we enjoyed growing up! This was always one of my favourites and had this as a side with any meat and potato meal that we were served."

    About Me

What can I say? I have been dabbling in the Kitchen for about thirty years and have gone from making Kraft Dinner to preparing international cuisine. Though my cooking skills are far from perfect, I have had a few compliments on the meals that I have provided. I enjoy cooking especially when cooking for friends. I have chosen to post my favourite recipes here on Recipezaar for those who wish to make them and for the friends who keep asking for them! Enjoy!

    Favorite Foods

Favourite foods are difficult to list because I enjoy many. Indian food is one of my favourites but also enjoy African, Italian, Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese to name but a few.
