I am a 7th grade science teacher, married with four children and live next door to my in-laws. My family (in-laws included) can put a way A LOT of food and are always asking what I am planning on cooking. I love to cook and I love to plan so you could say there is a symbiotic relationship! My younger daughter, who is 8, has taken a serious interest in cooking so she contributes to "the plan" regularly and is always up for helping out:).
Our tastebuds favor spicy food (it ain't hot unless it makes you sweat!) and anything off the grill. We are from an area in which much of the meat on the table was killed and butchered ourselves and Venison is a main ingredient in many of our recipes. I personally lOVE Hatch Green Chili and am always looking for ways to integrate it into my cooking (although it is a pain if not impossible to get it -not canned- around here)
