    About Me

I've been a vegetarian for over 30 yrs. There are tons of things on here I can eat.
    My favorite vegetarian site is
    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vegetarian_group/

I love trying new dishes and we often have potlucks at work and so far I haven't found a bad recipe on here yet.
I work as a bill collector and there's so much stress involved that I love to unwind in the kitchen some evenings and get my mind off the day or there's times I'm exhausted and just want to make a quick meal.
My pet peeve is a person that isn't willing to try foods they habe never eaten. how do you know you don't care for something if you haven't given it a try.
My favorite cookbook is an old faded red tore "Redbook" hardback I found at Goodwill 10 years ago for $2.00 Has the best applesauce recipe in it. I won't lend that book to anyone. No way!
    Glad I joined.

    Favorite Foods

I love potatoes, tofu, anything with fruit in it and trying something I haven't eaten before.
I'm known for creamy mashed potatoes and my homemade macaroni & cheese.
