    Reviewed Alfredo Sauce

"Wonderful! I love that you control how thick you want it by how long you keep it on the heat. This had great flavor (used a fabulous cheese given the rule: the fewer the ingredients the better each must be) and added the garlic powder instead of minced to keep the sauce smooth and a lovely creamy color. We did blackened chicken tenderloins over ..."

This was delicious still hot from the oven with vanilla ice cream all melty in the bowl! We will probably make it again in which case I'll use a third can of peache..."

    About Me

I'm mom to a beautiful daughter and wife to a husband with MS. I've been in school for a number of years working on my BA and certification to teach social studies at the high school level. Having completed student teaching, I'm on the quest for the perfect teaching position! I love to cook, but life is quite crazy so I tend toward simple but delicious dishes that include extras. Around here, there are no "left-overs"-- we consider that dinner already made!

    Favorite Foods

We love chicken in just about any form and lots of veggies. We try to include fish regularly and beef only occasionally. When we do eat out, there is this Italian restaurant in town that I would never attempt to compete with! I'm most famous for my desserts, especially Texas Chocolate Sheetcake and Danish Apple Cheesecake. Although I think my Cajun Blackened Shrimp and Crab with Julianned Vegetables and Pasta is the best ever! Some day I hope to have time to actually post my favorites. Until then, I rely of zaar and the tried and true recipes here to kick dinner up a notch or two (or at least provide variety!).
